Mother’s Day Brunch at Sweetwater Branch Inn

Your mom is one of the most important people in your life and every Mother’s Day allows you to dote on her and shower her with love to show her how much she means to you. There are many ways you can show your mom love on Mother’s Day, from sending her flowers to sending gifts, but brunch seems to be the classic tradition that all mothers love to experience with their children. Brunch and Mother’s Day seems to be synonymous with kids across the country taking their moms out to their favorite brunch spot or cooking them a sweet breakfast in bed.

Sweetwater Branch Inn hosted a special Mother’s Day brunch at their stunning Victorian bed and breakfast in historic downtown Gainesville, Florida. The reservation-only breakfast welcomed guests to a catered brunch served from 11 am to 2 pm on a beautiful sunny day. The dining area was gorgeously decorated in white and green linens, flowers, and cute table numbers. Brunch was served indoors at the McKenzie Hall venue on the grounds. McKenzie Hall is elegantly decorated with classic Victorian styling and opens up to a large patio surrounded by lush Florida gardens.

Mothers and children of all ages had the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and curated gardens that surround the charming Inn as they dined on an exclusive menu. The buffet-style breakfast served quiches, cones, flank steak, eggs, yogurt parfait, and more.

After breakfast, families had the opportunity to step outside to the open patio and explore the surrounding gardens decorated. The gardens opened up with a set of charming vintage sofas and seating for families to relax after their meals. A favorite family game, corn hole, was set up nearby where families could enjoy a nice game after brunch. The gardens are perfectly landscaped with water features, including a pond and elegant fountains set along winding brick pathways adorned with local Florida flora. The gazebo is definitely a sight to see nestled in the heart of the gardens.

Families were photographed enjoying their Mother’s Day brunch and as they explored the gardens in both stunning candid shots of pure joy and, naturally, some posed family photos they could keep as a memento. The location was a gorgeous backdrop and the perfect place for a great photo showing families having a great time.
